 ENVIRONMENT POLICY 

AIM & OBJECTIVE:

The Policy is aimed at to provide the best possible human-friendly environment and the conditions of work to the company personnel as set-forth by the country laws and the company's customers at national and international levels.


OBJECTIVES:

• The conditions of employment to be devoid of any discrimination including the discriminations on account of gender, race, religion and region. However, the company never employs the children.
• Compliance of the country laws and requirements of company's international customers on account of employees, conditions of work & employment, compensation against work and employment, liberty to forming and joining the associations of their own choosing.

IMPLEMENTATION:

In order to achieve these objectives, the company has established a mechanism. This mechanism is run by a person who is chosen from amongst the top management of the company. This person is called as "the Factory Manager" and being from amongst the top management has sufficient financial and administrative authority is able to run this mechanism appropriately. The main responsibilities entrusted upon the "Factory Manager" include the following:-

• To keep the factory premises clean, and environment friendly.
• To keep the factory premises protected from industrial pollution.
• To provide the safety equipment in sufficient quantity as may be necessary and appropriate for the safety of the personnel, machinery and building and other installations. Safety equipment includes the Fire Extinguishing System, Personal protection equipment, first-aid, appliances and appropriate transport facility for talking those persons to the hospital who may sustain serious injuries by accidents.
• To ensure that the factory building, machinery installed therein and other appliances ( Electrical and Gas supplies etc.) are safe, properly secured and guarded and that all the passages etc, are open and clear while the work is in progress.
• To ensure that the storage of the materials particularly of the hazardous chemicals are properly and securely done.
• To ensure that the conditions work in each room of the factory premises are human-friendly.
• To ensure that the drinking water and other eatables are provided to the factory personnel hygienically and of good quality.
• To engage a sufficient number of such personnel who are appropriately trained and educated for utilizing the safety equipment and are able to impart training to the others for the purposes of utilizing this equipment.
• To ensure that the industrial wastes are properly discharged.
• To ensure that the safety equipment is appropriately installed/placed and every installation/placement is notified to the personnel of the factory through appropriate means.
• To ensure that the company personnel are educated and instructed through notice and lecturers and training courses etc. enabling them to use the safety equipment as and when necessary.
• To ensure cooperation with and from like-minded people, Governmental organization on the subject matter.
• To ensure that all happenings concerned with the safety are documented and are previewed, reviewed and post viewed by other members of the top management of the company.
• To ensure health facilities for the company personnel and their families either directly or through any Government agency to which, the company has to pay the money.
